Bluescrew's unique twist mechanism provides incredible resistance in soft soils, and are simply screwed in and out by hand. Made from durable, lightweight reinforced plastic, they are equally effective in turf.

Bluescrew can resist a number of forces from different directions simultaneously. The unique helix is designed to use the weight of the ground for resistance.

Instructions for use: Position Bluescrew and screw it into the ground in a clockwise direction using downward pressure. Bluescrew should be inserted in line with the rope (for use with 1 rope) or vertically (for use with 2 ropes). To retrieve from ground simply turn anti-clockwise. Not suitable for use in hard ground.

One of our favorite things to do it to take out boat out on the Sound and go to an island for a picnic. We only have one boat anchor and didn't want to buy a second one because our boat is not that big...and those metal anchors are so big and clunky (and difficult for my wife to manouver around). We recently discovered Bluescrew and love it! We use our normal heavy anchor off the back and then use the Bluescrew off the front of the boat and screw it into a sandy beach on an island. It keeps the boat properly anchored so we can enjoy our picnics and walks on the beaches without worrying that our boat will drift away. It's easy to stow in our side pockets of the boat and they're light weight.
